OxTalks is Changing

OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Improving water security for the poor

Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for SoGE alumni to meet and mingle at an informal lunch, from 1pm-2pm, in the School’s Herbertson Room. You do not need to attend the talk to go to the lunch, but please book a place for the lunch (capacity 60 places, £5 donations at the door).

As part of Oxford University’s University Alumni Weekend, the School of Geography and the Environment will host a talk on its largest ever research programme: REACH – Improving Water Security for the Poor. REACH is a 7-year, £15million DFID-funded programme, which aims to improve water security in Kenya, Ethiopia and Bangladesh. Booking is now open via the alumni website.
