OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

History Faculty LGBTQ+ Network Launch: 'Bad Gays' with Huw Lemmey and Ben Miller
Entertaining and engaging speakers, Lemmey and Miller are the authors of Bad Gays: A Homosexual History (Verso, 2022), based on their hit podcast of the same name. They will read from the book and take questions about topics including the book’s arguments, its contemporary political relevance, and writing queer history for the public.
All are welcome, but attendees are asked to register through Eventbrite. The event will be followed by a reception. Attendees who are staff, students and affiliated researchers in the History Faculty who want to get involved in the new History Faculty LGBTQ+ Network will be able to learn more at the event.
