Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Director of Research at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Ralph De Haas will give us a detailed look at the banking sector and will present his research on discrimination in bank lending, addressing these particular areas:
- The types of discrimination and how prevalent they have become. – What banking institutions can do to reduce discriminatory behaviour. – How policies at the national level translate into action at the organisational level.
