OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Authenticity in African Cultural Heritage: Rail development and public heritage in Nigeria: Connecting past and future
Dr Olly Owens’ research interests centre on political anthropology and the relations between governments and publics in West Africa. In 2018 he was awarded a Knowledge Exchange Fellowship to develop a partnership with a Lagos-based railway heritage group.
