OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Hydrology, Remote Sensing and Data Analytics for Infrastructure – Case Studies from South East Asia

We warmly invite you for a lecture by Dr James Lau at 11.00 am on Monday 8th June in the Herbertson Room, SoGE, on challenges around flood hazard management and urban/hydrology drainage projects in Malaysia and Singapore. Associate Director of an infrastructure consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Lau holds honorary research and lecturing positions at Imperial College London and the University of Exeter. His recent work includes managing the development of a decision support model for Singapore’s drainage network.
