OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

OBN BioTuesday: The importance of getting your company story right from the start
The BioEscalator is hosting an OBN BioTuesday event on Tuesday 14th of March 2023.
The event is kindly sponsored by the Business Partnerships Office, Medical Sciences Division, University of Oxford.
During the evening, speakers will address the following: – How successful storytelling remains a critical & untapped source of potential success for the majority of early-stage businesses – The importance of being clear on the long-term impact you hope your company/services/innovation will have on both your internal team and wider society – and, most importantly, patients – How to differentiate your company from the competition and the importance of case studies – The importance of letting people ‘behind the curtain’ and how to best communicate successes and challenges you’ve experienced – The consequential impact that is getting it right (and wrong) can have on attracting and retaining employees and securing investment and external partners in the future
