Sexual health online - changing access, relationships, outcomes
Abstract
Self- testing, online contraception, remote consultations with photodiagnosis and self management – sexual health care is increasingly delivered remotely through online portals, telephone consultations, webchat and SMS. New systems create alternative user/clinician interactions and changing responsibilities. This seminar presents the results of a three year, mixed method evaluation of online sexual health care that explores its impact on access, interactions and outcomes in an emerging multi-modality health system.
