OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Rediscovering Attenborough's Echidna
In the summer of 2023, the team of Expedition Cyclops rediscovered Attenborough’s echidna, a species ‘lost’ to science for 62 years. Leader of the expedition, James Kempton, will talk about the expedition, the quest for Attenborough’s echidna, and the ecology of its home in Indonesian New Guinea – the Cyclops Mountains.
