On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

With Sir Nicholas Penny FBA FSA, Keeper of Western Art at the Ashmolean from 1984 to 1989.
Dr Jon Whiteley joined the Museum in 1978 as Assistant Keeper in the Department of Western Art. In a career of 36 years at the Ashmolean, until 2014, he was a dedicated teacher to generations of Oxford students; one of the country’s most distinguished art historians; and a well-loved colleague and friend to everyone who knew and worked with him.
At this annual Beauforest lecture, Sir Nicholas Penny shares an account of the acquisitions made by Jon, together with recollections of events and initiatives in the Department in the second half of the 1980s in which Jon played a part.
