Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Pakistan stands at a pivotal moment in its development trajectory, with transformative opportunities in governance, economic reform, and human capital investment. As the country navigates its energy transition, job creation, and institutional modernization, a youthful and dynamic population presents an unparalleled potential for progress.
Join us for a discussion with Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms, in conversation with Professor Maya Tudor, Professor of Politics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, as he shares his vision for inclusive economic growth, institutional strengthening, and long-term policy planning. The conversation will explore key reforms, strategies for leveraging demographic dividends, and the role of evidence-based policymaking in shaping a more prosperous future for Pakistan.
Hosted by the CSAE’s Economic Policy Network, the Blavatnik School of Government, the Oxford South Asian Society, and the Oxford Society for International Development.
