Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Join us in welcoming Dr. Francesca Sobande, who will be leading a session under our theme, ‘.Digital Spaces & Creative Methodologies’. This session reflects on the changing currents of digital culture and technology. It draws on experiences of digital creativity and collaborations focused on Black life in Scotland, Wales, and beyond. Reflecting on that, the session addresses some of the possibilities presented by digital forms of creating and communicating as part of work related to Black history and archives. There will be a Q&A session at the end, so please come prepared with questions and comments.
