OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
OCCT Discussion Group: Discussion Group: The Saxon ‘Other’ and the Saxon ‘Self’ in the Translation of Genesis B with Elliot Vale
Please join us for this term’s first OCCT Discussion Group session! Through a discussion of an Old Saxon Genesis poem, in this session Elliot Vale (Oxford) illuminates the ways in which translation and adaptation were crucial to the formation of English literature from its earliest development in the Anglo-Saxon period.
For any queries, please contact Alyssa Ollivier-Tabukashvili (alyssa.ollivier@wolfson.ox.ac.uk).
