OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Visiting Professor of Creative Media lecture: Jeanette Winterson
The Word Zoo: Language in the time of Tabloids, TikTok, Conspiracy Cults, Brexit, and AI. Evolution? Conservation? Extinction?
Jeanette Winterson CBE is an award winning British author. Having read English Literature at St Catz in 1978, she graduated and published her breakout novel, Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, in 1985.
The English Faculty are very pleased to host Jeanette Winterson as the Visiting Professor of Creative Media for 2022-23.
