OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Memorial Event: Derek Hopwood OBE, Emeritus Fellow in Middle Eastern Studies (1933-2020) & Celia Kerslake, Emeritus Fellow in Turkish (1946-2023)
The Director and Fellows of the Middle East Centre, St Antony’s College invite you to attend a memorial in honour of Derek Hopwood OBE, Emeritus Fellow in Middle Eastern Studies and Celia Kerslake, Emeritus Fellow in Turkish.
Tea/coffee will be available from 4pm in the Gallery of the Investcorp Building for those travelling from further afield. Presentations will start at 5pm in the Investcorp Lecture Theatre.
A small drinks reception will follow the presentations.
