Funding your postdoctoral research: clinical academic opportunities
Register by Wednesday, 14th June, if interested in a careers surgery; otherwise, register by Monday, 19th June, 12 p.m..
This is a joint OUCAGS-NMAHPPS Research (OUH) event. It will comprise a presentation from colleagues at NIHR about their funding schemes for postdoctoral clinical academics (including doctors, nurses, midwives and AHPs), networking sessions and careers surgeries. The event will be a chance for delegates to find out about, and discuss with speakers and senior academics, concrete opportunities to develop their postdoctoral career and possible clinical academic career paths.
This event is aimed mainly at clinicians who are undertaking a DPhil/PhD, although those who are already postdoctoral are also very welcome to attend.
