OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Trial recruitment difficulties? How the QuinteT Recruitment Intervention an help

The talk will cover what we know about reasons why recruitment to randomised trials is often difficult, and show how an intervention developed originally in the ProtecT trial and now integrated within 24 other ‘difficult’ trials (the QuinteT Recruitment Intervention) has enabled a detailed understanding of the generic and specific recruitment difficulties in these trials and enabled the majority to complete recruitment to time and target.
