Bodleian iSkills: Information resources for Modern Global History

In this session participants will be introduced to key archival, printed and electronic resources, such as finding aids, bibliographic resources and primary sources for post-1800 global history. The focus will be on non-European history (but exclude African and US history) and will draw predominantly on English language resources. The session will point out other existing support, such as online guides and relevant subject librarians.

Subjects to be covered include: finding relevant modern Global history / non-Western resources and finding tools in Oxford; identifying and searching key databases in Databases A-Z; using key portals and gateways to libraries and archives of online sources texts.
