OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Bodleian Student Editions
Take part in this hands-on session working on the transcription of early modern letters and join a discussion on the issues of representing historical power imbalances that are preserved in the archival record.
In this day-long workshop you will learn the skills to handle some of the Bodleian Libraries’ special collections and to read eighteenth-century handwriting.
Registration is required. Open to University of Oxford students only. Level – open to complete beginners and students from any subject, undergraduate or graduate.
Please see the website event page for further details and registration.
