OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Devon Matthews of LGBT+ refugee rights charity Rainbow Railroad, in conversation
In honour of LGBT+ History Month, the Refugee Studies Centre is excited to host Devon Matthews, the Director of Programs at Rainbow Railroad, for an online conversation with Samuel Ritholtz (DPhil student, ODID/RSC). Rainbow Railroad is an international charitable organisation that helps lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals escape violence and persecution in their home countries. Devon will present Rainbow Railroad’s impressive work and answer questions about her experience working globally to protect LGBTQI+ populations in situations of forced displacement and persecution.
