OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Interrogating Injustices - Evening Book Launch and Panel
Professor Sir Hilary Beckles is one of the standout, world leading historians on the history of the Caribbean, particularly the transatlantic African Maafa or the trade in enslaved Africans. His work has helped to lead the contemporary call for Reparations for the legacies of slavery. The Centre for Baptist Studies, the Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture, Regent’s Park college, New Road Baptist Church and the Race and Resistance seminar, TORCH, in the University of Oxford invite you to attend an afternoon seminar and an evening book launch to celebrate a recent book Interrogating Injustices that has been published in honour of Professor Beckles.
