Careers at the Forefront of Innovation – Making Your and Others' Ideas a Reality
Do you have an idea you’d like to see become a reality?

Or do you have a passion for supporting others to succeed? Creative thinking, project management, and developing novel ideas to deliver impact are all key skills for pursuing exciting careers beyond academia.

Whether this is for delivering short term social projects, securing technological patents, or founding a start-up business, you can leverage your research experience for personal success, but also enter sectors that incubate new ideas.

This session will feature a panel of former university researchers who have launched new initiatives to secure their career path beyond academia, and are involved in jobs supporting innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
