OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Lunchtime Workshop: Medical and Digital Humanities
Come and hear from three scholars working in Medical Humanities and how they make use of digital tools in their research. Xiurong Zhao, the Gale Asia Pacific Digital Humanities Oxford Fellow, will discuss her use of GIS mapping for disease in Victorian England; Jo Hedesan will discuss digital humanities and early modern medicine; and Samantha Vanderslott will share her insights from the multi-media Typhoidland project.
