Fieldwork challenges in water research
Water research is interdisciplinary creating a variety of fieldwork challenges from poor access to laboratory essentials to the ethics of engaging with vulnerable communities. Now the COVID19 pandemic has generated unprecedented disruption and uncertainty in research fieldwork. How can researchers better identify these challenges before beginning fieldwork and what are solutions to overcoming them?
This is NOT your typical lecture or brownbag because the speakers are you! Join us for this interactive hour to share your fieldwork experiences, ask questions, and find support related to your fieldwork—past or future! This will be a safe space with respect for fellow participants’ insights and conundrums.
