OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

The State of Colombia’s Transition
At the ‘conversation style’ event, “The State of Colombia’s Transition”, we will discuss major challenges and advances in the context of the transition of the FARC from a guerrilla group to a legal political party in Colombia. Contentions over sub-national, national and regional issues will form part of the conversation.
The event is part of the Oxford Berlin Research Partnership and co-hosted byCCW’s “From Conflict Actors to Architects of Peace” (CONPEACE) programme at the University of Oxford and the Institute for Latin American Studies (LAI) at the Freie Universität Berlin.
