OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. 'St Ephrem's poems on Lent'

The poet and theologian St Ephrem (d.373) was proclaimed a Doctor of the Universal Church exactly 100 years ago. Among his hymns is a small collection of poems on the Fast of Lent. Dr Brock shall introduce these poems and and explore their main themes.
