OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The 2024 Vincent Strudwick Lecture on Religion in Public Life will be delivered by the Revd Lucy Winkett.
Subject: “Imagine the world to be different”: the Church as an agent of change?
Lucy Winkett is Rector of St James’s Piccadilly in London, a post she has held since 2010. Prior to that, she was Canon Precentor of St Paul’s Cathedral. She regularly broadcasts on BBC and is a longstanding contributor to R4 Today Programme’s “Thought for the Day.” She is the author of Our Sound is our Wound (2010) and is also a trained singer.
About the Vincent Strudwick Lecture: The Rev Canon Vincent Strudwick is a theologian and educationalist, and an Honorary Fellow of Kellogg College.
The Vincent Strudwick Lecture is held annually in honour of his work and brings eminent theologians, other scholars and public figures to speak about religion in public life. The Graduate Theological Foundation is the commissioning sponsor for this annual lecture series, and we are grateful for their generosity.’’
