The Natural History of Rotator Cuff Tears
Ken Yamaguchi, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer for Centene Corporation and the Sam and Marilyn Fox Distinguished Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University. He did a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia University and later founded the Shoulder and Elbow Service at Washington University in 1995. It has since grown into one of the most clinically active and research productive services worldwide. His research program is focused on rotator cuff disorders and he has had over fifteen years sustained funding in this area including as a PI of consecutive NIH R01’s. He currently serves on the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Directors as Treasurer.
