Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Sleep disruption is a common, but typically overlooked, problem after brain injury such as stroke. My research focuses on understanding changes in sleep and the potential impact on neurorehabilitation and recovery. In this talk I will highlight some of our research assessing sleep and motor recovery in brain injury, and our initial efforts to improve sleep after stroke using digital cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia.
