OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Start Solving: Social Enterprise for Educational Equality - Oxford Hub
A hackathon-style event bringing the Oxford community together to use social enterprise in solving educational inequality.
About this Event
As a tie-in to the Social Enterprise Awards the Oxford Hub is excited to be convening Start Solving; bringing community members, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the whole city together to dream up practical, financially self-sustaining solutions to educational inequality in Oxford.
Over the course of the day, changemakers, entrepreneurs, and experts will organise themselves into teams, get inspired, and design enterprising solutions. At the end of the day there will be a competition, with a winner announced by our judging panel. All teams will be considered for the next round of Social Enterprise Awards, with the chance to receive funding and support to put their solution into action.
