On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Peter Thiel is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor, and author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book, Zero to One: Notes on Startups, Or How to Build the Future.
Zero to One presents Thiel’s often contrarian ideas about competition, progress, technology, and how to find value in unexpected places – to build a future that we have yet to dream, but will someday become reality. “Developing the Developed World” brings these ideas to life, including his philosophies on creating truly innovative startups in the world of atoms – not just digits and bits, and how to navigate a future marked by globalization in a world of scarce resources.
The school is delighted to welcome Peter to speak as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series.
