On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

How might testimonies of violence contribute to truth, justice, and reconciliation in Colombia and beyond? This day-long workshop will explore this question through three activities. We will kick off the morning with a graduate student paper workshop with DPhil students working on topics related to peace building/post-conflict in Colombia. The afternoon will begin with a
virtual dialogue with former FARC combatants, Professor Gonzalo Sánchez—former head of Colombia’s National Center for Historical Memory, and audience members. The discussion will be followed by a keynote address by Sergio Jaramillo, former High Commissioner for Peace.
Event schedule:
10am-12:30pm: Graduate student paper workshop with DPhil students working on topics
related to peace building/post-conflict in Colombia.
2:00pm-5:00pm: Open event dialogue with FARC ex-combatants
5:00pm-7:00pm: LAC Seminar Series, Keynote speaker Sergio Jaramillo
This event is co-sponsored by the Latin American Centre, Universidad del Rosario, the Comisión
