OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

An improvised, collaborative conversation with Dr Max Liboiron
Dr. Max Liboiron is a methodologist specializing in feminist and anticolonial ways to do research that foreground humility, accountability, and collectivity. Liboiron has influenced national policy on plastics pollution and Indigenous research, invented technologies and protocols for community monitoring of plastics, and directs two diverse research groups (CLEAR and the IndigeLab Network) that are redefining what counts as good research in the academy. If you had their full attention for an hour, what would you want to talk about? Join us for an improvised session where the audience provides the main questions, presentation outline, and even slides at the beginning of the talk and Dr. Liboiron weaves them together in real time for a unique discussion. The result is part improvised performance, part Q&A, and all fun.
