OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Understanding United Nations Negotiations
This brown bag offers an introduction to UN negotiation processes with a particular focus on climate negotiations under the UNFCCC. Marie-Claire Graf, one of the founders of the Youth Negotiators Academy, explains why and how the YNA came to be and its current role influencing the future of UN negotiations. Jervon sheds light on the experience of being a youth negotiator from a small island developing state and discusses the wider challenges that SIDS like the Bahamas must overcome in order to effectively engage in the UNFCCC COP process.
