OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Panel: The State of the Climate
One week before delegates from around the world assemble in Poland for the 24th UN Climate Conference, we want to take stock of how the world’s currently doing in the fight against climate change. For this, we are bringing together one leading climate scientist, one leading economist, and one expert on the politics of international climate action, to discuss how much progress the world has made in the fight for a safe climate, and what needs to happen next. With Myles Allen (Lead Author of the IPCC’s 1.5°C Special Report), Radhika Khosla (Research Director, Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development) and Thomas Hale (Associate Professor, Blavatnik School of Government).
