OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

A Faustian pact? Selling the Rule of Law in South East Europe
This seminar will explore the concept of Rule of Law and its promotion in South East Europe. Kalypso Nicolaïdis will offer a conceptual framework for EU Rule of Law promotion inside and outside of the European Union. Damir Banović and Mehmet Karlı will speak about contemporary Rule of Law challenges in the Western Balkans/Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, respectively. They will also reflect of the applicability of the conceptual framework with respect to the developments in the region and the EU’s role in the promotion of the Rule of Law.
