Join us for a discussion with Brasenose Alumnae who will be discussing challenges and opportunities in a wide variety of industries and job roles, including journalism, TV production, Investment management and banking.   

 Hermione Davies (Modern History,1978) started her career learning corporate lending at NatWest International before moving to work in investment for a merchant bank, Guinness Mahon. After successfully launching a Japan Pacific Fund, which involved travelling widely in Asia, the investment team was poached by an American firm, Bessemer Trust, to set up a London investment office. In due course she became the Chief Investment Officer based in Mayfair. After ten years she joined Ruffer LLP as an investment manager and partner. She retired in 2022. She is a member of Brasenose College’s Investment Advisory Committee, is studying for a degree in Modern Languages at Birkbeck, University of London, and has several volunteering roles.  

Lucinda Riches (PPE, 1980) is currently the independent Non-Executive Chair of Greencoat UK Wind plc and Peel Hunt Limited. She is also a non-executive director of Ashtead Group plc, Kingfisher plc and LGT Capital Partners.   

Lucinda is an experienced non-executive director, having served in several roles as board chair and remuneration committee chair across multiple sectors. Prior to becoming a non-executive director, Lucinda had an executive career in investment banking at UBS where she was Global Head of Equity Capital Markets and a member of the board of UBS Investment Bank.  Her previous non-executive director roles include CRH plc, ICG Enterprise Trust plc, the British Standards Institution, Diverse Income Trust plc and UK Financial Investments Ltd.  

Victoria Fea (English, 1989) has worked in television drama for more than 30 years.  She is currently an Executive Producer at Snowed-In Productions. Previously, she was Senior Drama Commissioner at ITV for 8 years (The Durrells, Unforgotten & Victoria were among the many shows she commissioned), before that she was an executive producer at World Productions, a freelance producer, and a script editor in the indie sector and at the BBC.
