OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for an insightful panel discussion where experts will address the intricate challenges and potential solutions to the UK’s housing crisis. Bringing together leading minds in journalism, housing policy, economics, and politics, the event aims to foster a robust dialogue on the various facets of the housing crisis. From exploring market dynamics to discussing policy reforms and social impacts, the panel will offer a holistic view of the current state and future directions in UK housing. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session, inviting guests to engage directly with the experts. Concluding the event, attendees are warmly welcomed to join the drinks reception, offering further opportunities for discussion and networking. The event will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
