OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
"Mineral metabolism and lactation.” (Dr Fadil Hannan, Director of the Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation).
Dr Fadil Hannan was appointed as a PI in the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health in February 2019. He is also an Honorary Consultant Chemical Pathologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Fadil’s research has previously focused on genetic disorders of mineral metabolism. He is now setting up the Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation (OCEHL), the purpose of which is to characterise the endocrine control of lactation and define the endocrine mechanisms by which lactation promotes infant growth and development, and reduces the maternal risk of type 2 diabetes and breast cancer.
