OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Hacking History
Organised by Digital Scholarship at Oxford, the Centre for Digital Scholarship, and the Jesus College Digital Hub. With support from Gale.
Join us for the Hacking History workshop on Tuesday 13th May. In this free workshop you’ll learn and practice new digital scholarship methodologies.
Participants will work in groups, using Gale’s Digital Scholar Lab to answer a research question, all the way through to presenting their findings.
We’ll be asking you to let us know how confident you already are with digital humanities research methods – we’ll be running some parallel workshop strands to accommodate all levels.
The workshop will begin at 9, and finish at 4. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
