A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Jean-Marie Guéhenno served as UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping between 2000 and 2008 and led the biggest expansion of peacekeeping in the history of the United Nations. He is now Director of the Kent Global Leadership Program on Conflict Resolution and a Professor of Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
Professor Richard Caplan of Linacre College and the Department of Politics and International Relations will conduct a conversation with Professor Guéhenno on the United Nations and international peace and security. The conversation will take place under the Chatham House Rule.
