The actions of gonadotrophin hormone receptors are essential for reproduction. As such, they remain one of the most successfully exploited therapeutic targets for assisted reproductive technologies, fuelling the continued interest in understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulates their functionality. Dr. Jonas will discuss her studies on gonadotrophin receptor oligomerisation, its role in regulating signal activation and ultimately, physiological functions.
