On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Led by Professor Andrea Cipriani, the course is designed to enhance understanding and expertise in carrying out systematic reviews and meta-analysis. It is aimed at psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, pharmacists and researchers in neuroscience and related disciplines.
The course content will include lectures, group work, hands-on tutorials and supervised statistical sessions. Course participants will have plenty of opportunity to network and interact with speakers, as well as, to present their own work and receive feedback from a panel of experts.

Day 1: How to write a protocol, conduct the search strategy & statistical analysis
Day 2: How to carry out a systematic review & meta-analysis of RCTs (focus on Cochrane & GRADE)
Day 3: How to conduct a meta-analysis of observational studies & individual patient data
