Festival of Lost Cities
This event is a celebration of the great classical cities, and areas of the school will be themed on different ancient sites! All visitors will be given a passport which they can get stamped for visiting the different regions, and will also be able to follow our artefact treasure trails across the school.
All ages are most welcome to attend – there will be activities and events suitable for every age range.
From 3.30 – 5.45pm there will be activities, stalls and exhibitions, a walk-through lost cities exhibition in the Library and the opportunity to see our artefact mural trails. There will also be live music and drama performances, including the award-winning UNMYTHABLE.
We are also hosting the following talks from authors and experts:
3.15 – 3.45 – Michael Scott, broadcaster, presenter and author of From Democrat to Kings and Delphi and Olympia
4.15 – 4.45 – Natalie Haynes, broadcaster, presenter and author of The Ancient Guide to Modern Life and Amber Fury
5 – 5.30 – Martha Kearney, broadcaster and presenter
