OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Communication between tumour and its surrounding cells: A game theory
All tumour cells arise and develop through harsh microenvironmental selection. They adapt or inherit variations to increase each clone for competition, survival and proliferation. Their relative abilities to survive, proliferate and propagate genes are supported by crosstalk with surrounding stromal cells. As a result, tumour cells gain the hallmarks of cancer and emerge as more malignant for metastasis and resistant to therapies. This seminar will review various interactions of tumour with stromal cells in the tumour microenvironment.
