OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The Oxford Tolkien Society presents: ‘Tolkien and Opera: Epic Scenes from the Silmarillion’
Paul Corfield Godfrey will reveal all about his incredible four-part composition, over 30 years old but recorded now for the first time, with the most recent Beren and Luthien released this year. Discover the fascinating lives of the music and the text, synthesised by Paul from many sources, while working closely with Christopher Tolkien himself.
Followed by drink reception with Paul and the cast.
£2 charge for non-members.
