On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Two days of fascinating, free, family-friendly events at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford!
The Festival of Social Science is a fantastic opportunity for children and grown ups alike to get hands on with fun and engaging activities, peek into the world of research and learn something new about our world – there will be singing, crafting, exploring, family tree building and much more!
The festival is an annual, free, family-friendly celebration of creative, engaging, and impactful work that social science researchers do to help us understand and influence the world around us. Now in its 21st year, we are excited to return on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October 2023, in half term, with a bang! It takes place across the UK, and you can join us at the Pitt Rivers Museum to see what we have on offer in Oxford. This year, our activities are being run by researchers from Oxford University and Brookes University, and will focus on lifelong wellbeing, exploring mental and physical health at all ages.
No need to book, just drop in and say hello!
