OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Recruiter Spotlight: Finnegan
This event is open only to current doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers from the University of Oxford.
Finnegan is a full-service IP firm with experts in every technology covering industries such as life sciences, chemistry, chemicals, industrials, and materials. The company employs scientists to work alongside law experts.
In this seminar, you will hear from Finnegan’s recruitment team on what skills the company is looking for and will learn about Finnegan’s recruitment process and roles available. You will also hear from scientists working at Finnegan’s on what it is like to work there in a technical role.
You will then have an opportunity to network with representatives of the company over lunch. Lunch will be provided.
These seminars are particularly suited to post-doctoral researchers who are considering or would like to learn more about working in industry and expand their pool of career options.
