OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Communicating health risks
Whether we’re making an individual health decision or hearing a public health campaign, we all need to understand the pros and cons of different options open to us: the potential risks and the potential benefits. So how can healthcare professionals communicate such evidence? How can they help translate raw and meaningless numbers into useful information – and how to do it without slipping into unintended persuasion?
