OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Eliot Higgins at the Oxford Union
Eliot Higgins is a British journalist who founded Bellingcat, which innovatively uses social media and open-source intelligence to investigate major events. Higgins has been pivotal in uncovering information about warfare and human rights abuses, notably in the Syrian civil war, the Russia-Ukraine war, the Salisbury poisonings and the downing of Malaysia’s Flight 17. He has redefined investigative journalism, making significant contributions to the international understanding of complex geopolitical events.
