Causal Inference in Case-Control Studies (joint with Sung Jae Jun, Penn State)
We investigate identification of causal parameters in case-control studies. We recommend estimands suitable for causal inference and discuss their interpretation based on formal identification results. Further, we propose semiparametrically efficient estimators and develop methods for carrying out inference. We provide results of Monte Carlo experiments and a real-data example.
